Stay-Cation Celebration At Home

You can have a blast at home with your loved ones or with a few friends as well. Make sure to have some festive food and drinks on hand. You can even do a theme for your food like “enchanted evening” or “everything must be green”. The sky’s the limit! Here are a few more activities to get your party roaring:

  • Play the “Guess The Resolution”
    • Have each guest write down three resolutions on pieces of scrap paper and mix them up in a bowl. Read them out loud one at a time and have everyone guess who’s is who’s. Then you can help each other achieve your resolutions for the new year!
  • Set up a hot chocolate bar station
    • Brew up a large pot of stovetop hot cocoa and set out several flavorings, toppings, and mix-ins for your guests to enjoy. Create your own concoction and share it with the room!
  • Scrapbook memories from the past year
    • Fire up the crafting stations and get your printer going because it’s time to scrapbook! Have your friends and family send you pictures and videos from the past year and print them off. Have fun putting the highlights together in a scrapbook together.
