The City of Trees is excited to see the return of one of its most beloved events, the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. This September 1st through the 5th the skies will come alive with incredible hot air balloons of various colors and designs. Back for its 30th year, the Spirit of Boise is a completely free event for the Treasure Valley that celebrates the great parks of Boise and the power of bringing the community together. Bringing the Treasure Valley together to literally reach new heights, this event has been a favorite for years. Launching from Ann Morrison Park, this event is one that you can participate in from almost any part of town.
Just step outside in the morning from 7:00am to 9:00am and, weather permitting, you will be able to see the unique and glorious hot air balloons as they gently float around the skyline. Turning the sky above into an amazing spectacle of color and imagination, all you have to do is look up to appreciate this awesome gift to our community.

Standing like giant stained glass windows illuminated by the huge flames this is an awe-inspiring opportunity to see hot air balloons the way few do. Activities on Friday night begin at 5:30 with the balloons lighting up at 8:05. Get there early to get a great spot in the park to lie back and take in all of the fun.
